Regan is 13 and is in year 8 at intermediate school.  She has been recently diagnosed with Stargardt’s Macular Degeneration. For Regan, accessing text is difficult.

He is working with his Resource Teacher Vision, Virginia Ashby, learning to make use of the keys on the computer keyboard so that he can make choices after listening to the instruction on the Dolphin Guide computer programme.

Loa is a 16 year old learner with low vision who is in Year 12 at her local High School and at times she has needed to rely on friends to assist her with phone communication.
